We just wanted to thank Krista Valla for the beautiful photographs of our son, Tristan.  Until Krista photographed Tristan, we were unable to get a picture of him smiling.  He would look away, or above you, or give you this "why are you taking my picture?" look.  Krista was able to capture not only great shots of his beautiful smile, but his personality too.  She had him laughing, jumping, throwing leaves, playing, and more.  She got on his level and had a fun afternoon with him which resulted in great pictures for us.  My husband and I love very artistic not staged photos, but my parents like to have pictures of Tristan smiling.  When we looked at the proofs, there was something for everyone.  Krista gave us pictures of Tristan we have never been able to have before.  The experience working with her was wonderful, we had our proofs in a few days and our prints in a week.  Thanks again, Jon and Beth Caltuna

Krista Valla is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST photographer that I have had the pleasure to meet.  My brother and I recently had pictures taken by Krista as a Christmas present for our mother.  We had both studio portraits and outdoor portraits taken and Krista's artistic and photographic ability proved to be absolutely amazing. As I viewed the tens of dozens of the shots of my brother and I, I repeated over and over again "My mother is going to cry!"  From the background, to the lighting and the poses, the images are undeniably astounding.  Even for out outdoor shots (which were taken at Rockwood Park in which I highly recommend for Autumn pictures) Krista got down on the ground and took pictures from so many different angles.  She not only captured the autumnal background but the sky as well.  Now I ask, what photographer do you know that would voluntarily get down on the ground for a shot?  Krista is truly a master of her craft. Krista Valla has a gift with photography... and children. She is very professional, yet gentle with my kids.(even my 18 month old who was not at all cooperative) She took her time and asked if I was pleased with what she had! Krista, We are so grateful to you for providing us with a Mother's Day gift that our whole extended family has been enjoying.  I'm glad we didn't  rely on ourselves or some impersonal portrait chain store for  capturing and preserving this time in our children's lives.  Having  the photo session shot in our own family's gardens made the photos more meaningful and the children more comfortable.  Seeing how good you were with the children allowed me to enjoy watching the whole thing happen with confidence that we would have the results we wanted.  I never guessed just how outstanding those results would be until I saw the proofs.   You truly captured the personalities of our kids with the eye of both an artist and a mother.  Your photo packages and photo disk really enabled us to put together exactly what we wanted for framing and scrapbooking.  We can't wait to work with you again. ~Tracey Mulveny
